Why most engagement ring prices do not include the diamond
Most online jewelers sell the setting and the diamond as two separate purchases. The price you see first is usually the setting alone, the metal band with empty prongs. You then pick a loose diamond from a search page, and its price is added on top. As of August 2026, a setting alone at a major online retailer can list around $1,190, and that page is not yet a ring you can wear. Local stores often work the same way in reverse: the stone is quoted first, and the mounting is priced after. Neither is dishonest, but it means the first number you see is rarely the number you pay.
What "complete ring" means at Beylora
A complete ring is the finished object: center stone set, accent stones set, in the metal you chose, in your size, ready to propose with. Every Beylora price is a complete-ring price. Why we price it this way
Two reasons, and neither is marketing. First, we chose the grade before the price: every center stone is D color and VVS2 clarity or better, so there is no "step down to fit a budget" step to hide inside a two-part price. Second, a two-part price makes comparison shopping nearly impossible, because you are comparing a setting to a setting and a stone to a stone instead of a ring to a ring. One number for the finished ring lets you compare us against anyone in a single line.
How to compare any two rings fairly
Ask each seller for the total for the finished ring at the same carat, the same color and clarity grade, and the same metal, with the certificate number of the exact stone.
