Does an engagement-ring price include the diamond?
Check what the quoted price covers. A setting-only price, a loose-diamond price and a complete-ring price describe different purchases. Sellers may offer one or more of these formats. Ask for the total for your chosen diamond, setting, metal and size before comparing two rings.
What a complete Beylora ring includes
- The lab-grown center diamond: D color, VVS clarity (VVS1 or VVS2), with an individual IGI report.
- The setting and any accent diamonds included in the chosen design.
- Your selected metal and ring size. Available metals are 14k or 18k white or yellow gold, and platinum; compare the price for the option you select.
- Free Standard shipping within the United States, fully insured, with tracking and a signature at delivery.
The product-page price reflects your selected carat and metal. A separate wedding band is a separate purchase. An individual center-diamond report does not mean every accent diamond or wedding band has its own report. Our IGI report guide explains what to check.
A complete-ring price comparison checklist
For each ring you are considering, write down the same details:
- Diamond type and weight. Confirm whether the stone is lab-grown diamond, natural diamond or a simulant. Record the center stone's carat weight separately from the combined weight of all diamonds in the ring.
- The exact design and metal. Include the setting, accent stones, gold purity or platinum option, and ring size. Ask whether setting the center diamond is included.
- The grading report. Compare the center diamond's reported color, clarity, measurements and the cut, polish and symmetry information available on its report. Ask when you can review the report for the stone that will be set in your ring.
- The complete amount due. Add any separately quoted diamond, setting and assembly charges, then applicable tax and your delivery choice. Keep a wedding band separate unless it is explicitly included.
- Arrival timing. Ask for production time plus shipping time, and whether a specific arrival date is confirmed. A shipping speed by itself does not tell you when a made-to-order ring will arrive.
- Return and aftercare costs. Check the return window, change-of-mind deductions, delivery-fee refund rules and any later resizing charge before deciding.
Matching these details gives you a clearer comparison. A lower displayed starting price alone does not establish the total price or an equivalent diamond and setting.

Price shown: $1,800 complete ring, before applicable tax and optional Rush.
Diamond weight and report: 2-carat center; D color; VVS clarity (VVS1 or VVS2); individual IGI report for the center. Total ring carat weight is not separately stated.
Delivery and returns: Standard delivery is about 30 days total. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery; change-of-mind returns have a 20% restocking fee, and optional Rush is not refunded.
Venazia Tulip Solitaire, 14k white gold
Price shown: $2,319 ring product on the checked product page.
Diamond weight and report: 2.00-carat center and 2.00 total carat weight; G-H color; VS2 or better; listed as IGI certified.
Delivery and returns: The product page advertises free overnight shipping and free returns within 30 days. Venazia's terms say custom orders take 5 to 10 business days before shipping, and also say lab-grown diamond jewelry is final sale. Confirm the terms for the exact order in writing.
Lavora custom 2-carat oval range
Price shown: $2,500 to $5,500 seller-published complete-ring range. Lavora says most of its custom 2-carat oval builds fall between $3,000 and $5,500. This is a planning range, not an exact selectable quote.
Diamond weight and report: 2-carat oval center; seller says IGI certified and solid 14k or 18k gold. Color, clarity and design vary by quote.
Delivery and returns: Lavora's shipping page says 3 to 4 weeks from CAD approval plus carrier transit. Its refund policy says custom rings are final sale once production begins.
What the comparison shows
- Beylora and Venazia show exact ring examples, but their shapes and diamond grades differ.
- Lavora publishes a custom-build range. Your written quote determines the actual stone, setting and total.
- A 2-carat label can describe the center diamond or the total weight of every diamond in the ring. Check both fields.
- A setting-only or loose-diamond price is not a complete-ring price. Add the missing center, setting, assembly, delivery and applicable tax before comparing totals.

Two complete 2-carat rings at $1,800
Bellagio in 14k white gold and Valencia in 14k white gold are each $1,800 with a 2-carat lab-grown center diamond, before applicable tax and optional Rush. These are two examples from our selection of engagement rings under $2,000. Larger carats and other metals can change the price.
With Standard shipping, either example is $1,800 before tax. Adding $300 Rush makes it $2,100 before tax, so Rush takes that purchase above a $2,000 budget. For more current examples, see the 2-carat price guide.
What about 4-carat and 5-carat complete rings?
Compare the same design and metal when choosing a larger center diamond. Bellagio in 14k white gold is $3,200 with a 4-carat lab-grown center or $3,900 with a 5-carat lab-grown center, before tax and optional Rush. Each price includes the setting and any accent stones in the design; other metals and designs have different prices.
Budget for the timing and the possibility of a return
Standard orders arrive in about 30 days total. Rush is about 14 days to make, followed by next-day express delivery, for approximately 15 days total. These are estimates; read the shipping policy and contact us before relying on a specific proposal date.
Beylora's return window is 30 days from delivery. Change-of-mind returns carry a 20% restocking deduction, and the $300 Rush fee is not refunded. Damaged, faulty or incorrect rings are handled without that fee under the return policy.
