The sixth, the Ember east-west bypass solitaire at $2,919, is not marked setting only, and its description names a 1.54 ct lab-grown pear diamond in a fancy brown color. Its product page also says you choose the center stone on the next step, so ask Wilson whether the $2,919 includes that diamond. Wilson also lists 129 loose lab-grown pear diamonds from $90; the lowest at 2 carats or more was a 2.02 ct, J color, VS1 clarity stone at $1,010.

Morgan's website, which is shared by all of its stores, shows 18 engagement rings under its pear center-shape filter. 7 are Shah mountings and one is a semi-mount, all sold without the center diamond. The lowest with a diamond center was a 1/4 carat total weight pear solitaire in 14K yellow gold at $999.99 on sale, marked in stock in Orem, and the highest was a 1 carat total weight pear halo ring at $5,099.99 on sale, not available for pickup in Orem. 3 are lab-grown, from a Flashpoint Created 2 1/4 carat total weight pear twist band ring in 14K yellow gold at $3,399.99 on sale to a 3 carat total weight version at $4,399.99 on sale, both marked in stock in Orem.
