The one ready-set ring is the Amelia triple ridged solitaire at $3,390, whose listing names a 3.17 ct lab-grown emerald-cut diamond (H color, VVS2 clarity) and does not carry the "Setting Only" label, so ask what the price includes. Wilson also lists 145 loose lab-grown emerald-cut diamonds from $175; the lowest at 2 carats or more was a 2.01 ct, G color, VS1 clarity stone at $1,389.

Morgan's website, which is shared by all of its stores, shows 160 engagement rings under its emerald center-shape filter. Most are A.JAFFE, Shah and Gabriel & Co. mountings, which the pages we opened say are sold without the center diamond. 11 are Flashpoint Created lab-grown rings with their centers set, from a 2 carat total weight three-stone ring in 14K white gold at $2,999.99 on sale, in stock in Orem, to two rings at $4,599.99 on sale (3 1/2 and 3 3/4 carat total weight). The lowest Morgan ring with a diamond center, not sold as lab-grown, was a 1/2 carat total weight halo ring with a 1/4 ct emerald-cut center in 10K white gold at $1,949.99 on sale. The lowest mounting was an emerald solitaire semi-mount at $999.99 on sale, shown with a cubic zirconia center.

We searched its online catalog for engagement products that name an emerald cut or emerald shape and found 74; 56 are titled semi-mounts, from $1,110 to $5,650. The 14 rings titled with an emerald-cut center stone ranged from $1,610 for a ring with a 1/4 ct emerald-cut center (1/2 carat total weight, 14K yellow gold) to $6,490 for a ring with a 5/8 ct emerald-cut center (1 1/6 carat total weight, 14K white gold). The website's emerald collection shows 34 results, a mix of jewelry types that includes green emerald gemstones.
