Knife-edge engagement rings at Beylora: 9 designs set a prong-held lab-grown center diamond on a knife-edge band, whose two sides meet in a ridge along the top, with no other diamonds in the ring. Each is $1,800 for a complete 2-carat ring in 14k gold, with a round, oval, emerald, cushion, princess, radiant, marquise, pear or Asscher center.
A knife-edge band is shaped like a peaked roof in cross-section instead of a rounded or flat strip. The ridge catches light along the top of the band and makes the band look finer from above.
Every price is for the complete ring: the lab-grown center diamond and the setting, before tax. The price shown is for a 2-carat center in 14k gold; 14k yellow gold costs the same as 14k white gold, 18k gold adds $500 and platinum adds $700.

Every design offers a 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4 or 5 carat center. In 14k gold, the complete ring costs $2,500 at 3 carats and $3,900 at 5 carats.
How is a knife-edge band different from a polished band?
