Lab-grown 1ct rings start at exactly $1,000 in 14k gold, and the 56 classic plain solitaires in engagement rings under $2,000 are the rings at that price. Wedding bands start lower, with 15 at $800 and 25 at $900 in 14k gold. In 14k gold, lab-grown rings run $1,000 to $1,600 at 1ct, $1,250 to $1,850 at 1.5ct and $1,500 to $2,100 at 2ct, so each half carat adds $250.

How do Salt Lake County stores compare on price and paying for a ring?
A store lets you see a ring in person before you pay. Beylora sells online and has a studio in Provo, where our co-founders meet couples by appointment, or by video. It is headed “Financing WITH TRESOR” and shows Synchrony for in-house purchases and PayPal among its online checkout options. It prints no rates or terms, so ask the store for them in writing. We did not confirm financing terms for the other stores.
For ring prices, we read two Salt Lake County store listings on November 3, 2026. J. Brooks Jewelers in Murray listed a 2.01ct lab-grown oval hidden halo ring, D color and VS1 clarity, in 14K yellow gold at $3,840, and Portia, our 2ct lab-grown oval hidden halo ring in 14k yellow gold, is $1,700. Shane Co. in Midvale listed a 2ct lab-grown oval tulip solitaire, G-H color and VS2 clarity, in 14k yellow gold at $2,830, and Snowmass, our 2ct lab-grown oval solitaire in 14k yellow gold, is $1,500. Our lab-grown centers are D color and VVS clarity. The J. Brooks ring lists natural accent diamonds, and Portia's accents are lab-grown. The J. Brooks listing allows 4 to 6 weeks for production, and our rings arrive in about 30 days. Shane Co.'s page also showed a $200 charge for yellow gold, and we could not tell whether that price includes it. Prices change, so check each listing before you buy.
